Last updated: 30 September 2026
What changed on 30 September 2026: the store is now operated by Yasuee LLC (sections 1, 11 and 14), and our postal address is now in the United States (sections 6 and 14). What we collect and how we use it has not changed.
What changed on 29 September 2026: section 5 now also describes the hashed purchase information we send to Google.
Yasuee (yasuee.com) is operated by Yasuee LLC, a Florida limited liability company. Our sourcing and customer-service team is based in Hong Kong and works with our Hong Kong affiliate, Professor Port Limited, which handles personal information on our behalf as described in this policy.
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or buy from yasuee.com, why we collect it, who else receives it, and the choices you have. It covers our United States store only. Our Hong Kong store is governed by a separate policy under Hong Kong law.
Questions about this policy: email [email protected].
2.1 Information you give us
2.2 Payment information — we never see your card
Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own hosted checkout page. Your card number, expiration date and security code are entered on Stripe's page and are never received or stored by Yasuee. Stripe also collects a billing address there to verify your card. What comes back to us is the payment result and a payment reference — nothing about the card itself. We do not store your card brand, the last four digits, or any card fingerprint. Stripe is the only payment method offered on our US store.
2.3 Information collected automatically when you use the site
2.4 What we work out about you
From what you search for, look at and buy, we work out which series and product types you appear to be interested in. We use that to decide what to show you on the site and — if you have opted in to promotional email — what to send you. It is an inference from your activity, not something you told us.
We also record, from your orders, the Yasuee Coins you earn and redeem and when they expire, and your cumulative spend, which sets your membership tier and its rebate percentage and free-shipping threshold.
2.5 Information from other sources
Google and Facebook (when you use social sign-in); Stripe (payment outcome); our shipping and order-handling partners (delivery status).
2.6 Information we do not collect
We do not collect, and our systems have no field for: card numbers or security codes; Social Security numbers, driver's licenses, passports or any government identifier; precise device location (we never ask your browser for GPS, and there is no map or address-autocomplete tool on our checkout); genetic or biometric data; health information; racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, sexual orientation or sex life; or log-in credentials to any account other than your Yasuee account.
Your year of birth is an exception worth spelling out. When you create an account we ask for your year of birth, for one purpose only: to check that you are old enough to use the store (see section 12). We check it and then discard it — it is never written to your account or stored anywhere. We do not ask for your full date of birth.
The one category of sensitive personal information we do collect is your Yasuee account log-in and password. We use it only to sign you in and keep your account secure, and we do not use or disclose it for any other purpose.
2.7 The same information, in the categories US privacy law uses
Everything above is collected for the business purposes in section 3 and disclosed as described in section 6. The identifiers and network-activity data described in section 5 are also shared for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not show a cookie consent banner. Cookies are set when you use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking them may break sign-in and checkout.
Cookies we set ourselves:
We also store data in your browser's local storage: your signed-in session (so you stay signed in) and the campaign attribution described in section 2.3.
Cookies set by other companies whose code runs on our pages: Google Analytics and Google Ads, loaded through Google Tag Manager (measuring site usage and ad conversions); Meta, that is Facebook and Instagram (advertising measurement and retargeting); Reddit (advertising measurement); Stripe (fraud prevention and payment processing on the checkout page); and our hosting, content-delivery and security providers (serving the site and protecting it from automated abuse).
Google. We load Google Tag Manager on every page. Through it we run Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement. When you are signed in, we pass your Yasuee account identifier and a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your email address into Google Tag Manager, where the Google tags on our site can read them. We do not pass your email address itself. When you buy something, our server sends Google your email address, phone number, and your name and street address in a hashed form, together with your city, state, ZIP code and country as-is, so Google can match your purchase to an ad.
Meta. We run Meta's advertising tools on this site. Meta receives your Meta browser identifiers, your Facebook login identifier if you signed in with Facebook, your IP address and your browser user-agent — all of these as-is, not scrambled. Meta also receives identifiers for the products you view, add to your cart, or have in your cart at checkout. We do not send Meta the words you type into our search box. When you buy something, Meta additionally receives your email address, phone number and Yasuee account identifier in a hashed form, so Meta can match your purchase to an ad. This is advertising that follows you across different websites.
Reddit. We run Reddit's advertising pixel on this site. Reddit receives the Reddit click identifier from the link you arrived on (if you came from a Reddit advertisement), its own browser identifier, your IP address and your browser user-agent as-is (not scrambled), and identifiers for the products you buy. When you buy something, Reddit additionally receives your email address and Yasuee account identifier in a hashed form, so Reddit can match your purchase to an advertisement. This is advertising that follows you across different websites.
Product reviews. A review you post is public. Your chosen display name, star rating, review text and any photos are shown on the product page to anyone. Your review, rating and display name are also included in a product-review feed we upload to Google Merchant Center every day, so that product ratings can appear in Google Shopping listings. If you want a published review taken down, email [email protected].
Campaign attribution. We record on your order the campaign click identifiers that were in the link you arrived on, and the advertising identifiers your browser already holds (section 2.3), so we can tell which advertising produced a sale.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We do not currently respond to either signal.
Third parties do track you across sites. Google, Meta and Reddit collect information about your activity on this site and combine it with your activity on other sites over time, through the cookies and tags described above.
We do not exchange your personal information for money. We do let Google, Meta and Reddit collect information about your activity on this site through the tags described in section 5, and they use it for their own advertising purposes. Under California law that is "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and some state laws treat it as a "sale". You can ask us to stop — see section 8.
Companies that process information for us, under contract and on our instructions only:
These companies may use your information only to perform the service we hired them for.
Advertising and analytics platforms — Google and Meta — receive the information described in section 5 and use it for their own advertising purposes.
Other disclosures. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to enforce our terms, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business.
We send three kinds of email, and they follow different rules.
1. What we use. For promotional email we use your email address, your name, your Yasuee purchase history and the preference profile described in section 2.4 to decide what to send you.
2. We do not sell or rent your contact details. We do not give your name, email address or phone number to any other company for that company's own marketing. This promise is about your contact details. It is not about the advertising measurement described in section 5, which is a different practice and is described there.
3. How to stop, free of charge. Every promotional email carries a one-click unsubscribe — the button your mail app shows at the top of the message — and an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Neither requires you to sign in. Where your account shows email-preference controls, you can change or withdraw your consent there, including switching off individual categories. Or email [email protected] and ask us to stop. We honor opt-outs within 10 business days, and there is never a charge.
⚠️ One warning. Separately from the controls above, there is a setting in your account details to unsubscribe from all Yasuee email, and pressing your mail app's unsubscribe button on a non-promotional message has the same effect. That switches off every email we send you, including order confirmations and shipping notices. Use it only if you want no email from us at all.
4. How your opt-in is recorded. Where we show a promotional opt-in — on the registration form or in your account — it may be pre-selected; clear it before you submit if you do not want promotional email. If you create an account using Google or Facebook sign-in, no box is shown and we treat the sign-up as your agreement to the terms and this policy, not as a promotional opt-in. Whenever you do opt in, we store the date, the exact wording you accepted, your IP address and your browser user-agent as the record of that consent.
5. What we record about our email. We record that a message was sent, and we record unsubscribes, spam complaints and permanent delivery failures, so that we stop emailing addresses that do not want or cannot receive our mail. Our email provider may also record whether a message was opened or a link in it was clicked.
6. Our postal address, which also appears in the footer of every commercial email we send: Yasuee LLC, 18350 San Jose Ave, City of Industry, CA 91748, United States.
What you can do yourself, right now, once you sign in and go to your account: see your orders, coins, reviews, saved addresses and email preferences; change your name, title, phone number, email address or password; change or withdraw promotional consent where those controls are shown, or use the one-click unsubscribe in any promotional email; and turn off all Yasuee email including order confirmations, using the global unsubscribe setting in your account details (see the warning in section 7). Your username cannot be changed from the account page — email us and we will handle it.
What you ask us to do, by email. We do not yet have a self-service button for these. Email [email protected] and we will handle the request:
How we verify you. For access, correction and deletion requests we will check that the request came from you — normally by confirming it from the email address on the account, and by asking about a recent order if we need more. We do not ask you to prove who you are before we act on an advertising opt-out — just email us and we will action it. An authorized agent may make a request for you; we will ask for written proof that you authorized them, and for an advertising opt-out that proof is all we will ask for. We do not charge for any of this and we will not treat you differently for asking.
How quickly. We will confirm we received your request within 10 business days and aim to complete it within 45 days. If we need longer we will tell you why.
California residents. California law gives residents rights over their personal information — to know, to access, to correct, to delete, to opt out of sale and sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Whether or not those rights apply to a company our size, we will honor access, correction, deletion and advertising opt-out requests from any US customer using the email address above.
The only sensitive personal information we collect is your account log-in and password (section 2.6), and we use it solely to give you access to your account, so the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information does not change how we handle it.
California's "Shine the Light" law lets California residents ask once a year about personal information shared with other companies for those companies' own direct marketing. We do not share your personal information with other companies for their own direct marketing. To ask about this, email [email protected] or write to us at the address in section 7.
Yasuee Coins and membership tiers. Our coins and membership-tier program gives you a rebate percentage and a free-shipping threshold based on your cumulative spend. It requires an account and a record of your purchases. You join by opening an account and you leave by closing it or by asking us to. The benefit you receive is the published rebate and free-shipping threshold for your tier; we value your participation at no more than that published benefit, because the rebate is the whole of what we give.
We do not store your password in readable form — it is stored as a salted hash, and neither we nor anyone who obtained our database could read it back. Card details never reach our systems at all (section 2.2). Tokens that connect your account to another application are revoked automatically when you change your credentials. When our staff open a customer's account view to help with a query, that access is recorded.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Yasuee LLC is a Florida company. Our Hong Kong affiliate, Professor Port Limited, runs much of the store on our behalf.
The data-protection laws of Hong Kong and Singapore are different from those of the United States. By using the store you understand that your information will be handled in all three places.
Our store is intended for customers aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
When you create an account we ask for your year of birth and we do not let anyone under 13 register. We use that answer only for this check and we do not store it (section 2.6). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at [email protected].
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top and post the new version on this page. If a change materially affects how we use your personal information, we will post a notice on this page.
